Summary
I am currently employed at a Chartered Accounting firm as a junior accountant and have been so since November 2009 following completion of my studies toward Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at the University of Adelaide and have subsequently graduated successfully in April 2010. I am currently undertaking a foundations tax course run by the Taxation Institute of Australia and plan to commence my CA studies in 3rd term of the 2010 year. It is my ambition to become a qualified Chartered Accountant and work in a professional environment where I can apply these skills into practice. I have a preference for business services and tax however I am also prepared to consider a role in audit or any other related services.
I am a confident, hard working and conscientious individual who has produced a high standard of results during my University and Year 12 studies and subsequent employment.
While studying at University I also worked part time in commerce for Origin Energy after being accepted via their internship program. Working for a Chartered Accounting firm would be ideal as I have a strong interest in Chartered Accounting, enjoy working in a team environment, have good people and technical skills, desire to progress my career and become a fully qualified CA. My current goals are to be in a role where I can apply a variety of skills, be constantly challenged and be able to perform to the best of my ability.
